By Dorothy Lowery-All Can Learn-Special Education Consultant, Advocacy & Services

I sympathize...I support you too

I sympathize…I support you too. Each day I try to read a post from others I know and also from new people. I sympathize.

I learn something new from others each day. By reading your posts, and reading the posts of someone new to me each day. All the diverse gifts shining through each post. I sympathize.

In this process of sympathizing, I’m getting the support I need to keep going each day. I sympathize.

I sympathize…I support you too:

Krista Stevens, shehannemore, Andreas Antero Ahrens, Pragya, mike2all, PolitiGal, pjlazos, da-AL, TechFlax, angelanoelauthor, Yashskirt18, NaomYb’, thinkwithcaleb, ogaziestheory, simple Ula, cher, ogaziestheory

Yes. I sympathize… I support so many others too. Although I can’t name them all, I name them each day when I’m giving thanks, and by writing what I’m grateful for in my gratuity journal each day. I sympathize.

For all of your time, effort, thought, comments, your likes, your words of encouragement, your reading my posts and the posts of others, your follows. I sympathize…I support “YOU” too.

Freelancing Opportunities- Can Earn Extra Money

Produced by Dorothy Lowery-All Can Learn Consultant

Make Extra Money Freelancing
Make Extra Money Using Your Skills

I am not an affiliate of any freelancing websites.   This is just an honest review.

What is freelancing?

Whether you’re looking for another way to pay the bills, seeking more professional development opportunities or just love the freedom that freelancing offers, there’s no question that millions of people have discovered

New business owners watch out for scams.  Starting a new business can be both exciting and overwhelming all at the same time.

You’re filled with excitement about possibly following your dreams and passions. This is the opportunity to be your own boss and enjoy it. You may finally be getting the chance to pursue your niche and make a living.

What if you need extra cash? Along with starting a new business comes the overwhelming reminders that you still have bills to pay. You still need medical insurance. If you gave up your job, lack of money can become a deterrent.

So, if you explore other opportunities to make extra money, try freelancing.

The services of some online companies like freelancer offer jobs on their website. Some freelancers looking for work choose to accept job offers from these websites.  It’s a really good way  to make extra money. Let’s face it, the extra money will help while pursuing the dream of becoming a business owner or whatever you’re pursuing.

As a freelancer looking for work, you pretty much set your own hours and accept the rate of pay you want for freelancing jobs. Just be careful, there’s always possibility for scams.  You can protect yourself.

Using websites for freelancers can be  confusing at first. If looking for work, why do you have to keep paying all these small fees for additional services? Extra charges to get your bid at a better ranking and job offers quickly. The charges can add up but for the small fees it may be worth it.

Using websites for freelancers can connect you to a variety of opportunities all over the world. There are some excellent professionals on these websites offering their services.  Just make sure you follow the guidelines outlined on the website for receiving payments for your work in a timely manner.

Watch Out for Scams

So, some have reported being scammed through websites like this. Completing a job for someone but not getting paid for it does happen.  Again, be sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the website for receiving payments and you should be fine.

On the other side of this coin, as a small business owner, you may use the services of companies to hire a freelancer.

Maybe you need a graphic designer or someone to create a logo for your business. You can end up getting someone to provide this service for you at a reasonable rate and good quality of work.  There’s also the chance that you pay for services, but never receive it.  Just be careful, and protect yourself from this and you should be fine.

Scammers can be clever and they prey on people. Learn from the mistakes of others. Follow the companies policies for making payments, and receiving payments for services.

As an added layer of protection, networking is great for unleashing valuable resources.  Use testimonials and recommendations from others when deciding to do business online.

Autistic and Amazing!

Reposted by Dorothy Lowery-All Can Learn-Special Education Consultant, Advocacy & Services

As a former special needs teacher, I ran across an AMAZING story spotlighting one family’s story about their journey with autism and how they decided to share it. Check it out. You will be amazed too.

Is it ok to be different? What are the benefits of being a square peg?
